Content Filtering

Content Filtering Content filtering is the process by which Internet access to websites is controlled based on pre-defined policies set by a business. This gives the organisation the ability to prevent the viewing of inappropriate web-based content for its employees. Some may simply wish to prevent inadvertent access to sites through user misinterpretation, spyware-induced pop-ups and redirects, or potential web-based security risks. Others may wish to enforce a strict 'business-relevant only' policy or reduce legal liability.

Entegraty can supply systems to ensure that website access from within the company network is both controlled and monitored. This can be based on broad categories with black and white-lists to override default behaviour and can also be based on source IP or network, and Windows computer name or user. Categories are updated on a continual basis by teams of engineers, maintaining huge databases of domains and URLs.
